Our Story
Founded in Tradition
Grace Preschool, founded in 1961, serves the Roland Park and Homeland communities and beyond by providing an excellent early learning program in an inviting and active environment. The intimate atmosphere offers a gentle introduction to school while maintaining high educational standards.
Our school faculty is composed of highly qualified professionals including specialists in Art, Music, Spanish, Library, and Physical Education. The Parents Group at Grace is dynamic and inclusive! They love inviting families to participate in school activities throughout the year.
Our daughter needed a place that would be accepting of who she was and all her feelings. She needed a place that didn’t expect her to fit in a certain shape box, a place that was not just focused on her academic development but a place that put her social and emotional development first, a place where the teachers strive daily to foster a connection between each individual child. Our Beautiful Campus
As an outreach program of Grace United Methodist Church, our preschool is located in the beautiful, light filled church building on the corner of Northern Parkway and Charles Street. Our classrooms are colorful and welcoming, providing an engaging environment full of possibilities for exploration.

Outside, children enjoy the charming fenced playground area, but even when the weather does not permit outdoor play, our children can run, climb, and ride trikes in our indoor playroom.

The Fellowship Hall ​of Grace Church provides an ideal place for our students to practice poise and concert etiquette on a real stage during their two annual performances.
